What is a voluntary scheme?

Our products can be made available to a group of employees who fund the cover themselves. You ‘sponsor’ sales through workplace promotion and employees benefit from “group” terms that are more favourable than if they individually purchased cover.

We’ll help you promote your scheme to maximise the value of the benefit.

What are the benefits of a voluntary scheme?

Employees can choose the level of cover which best matches their needs and in most cases can add family members for a more tailored insurance plan.

You can make one or more of our products available to your employees to give them further choice.

And your employees can still benefit from no, or little, underwriting terms so that access is not dependent on detailed health questionnaires and pre-existing conditions are disregarded.

How do we administer a voluntary scheme?

We talk to your employees to offer them the option of taking out a policy. We explain the cover options and any exclusions to make sure your employees have a fair understanding of the policy and provide them with all policy documentation.

We can collect premiums through payroll deduction providing a seamless experience for participating employees. We liaise with your payroll department to set up systems for monthly collections.

 All our products are designed to make claiming simple and easy. Should an employee have any queries making a claim our customer service team is on hand to support and guide them.
