For company paid policies
Ways you can claim
Our company paid plans offer the greatest flexibility in terms of how you can make a claim. The options are:
- Use the claims portal on My Staff Shop. Depending on how your company set up the scheme, you may have access to a branded site or be set up to use the use the My Health Xtras site
- You can call our customer service team on 03300 242 280, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:15 (excluding Bank Holidays).
- You can email customerservices@myhealthxtras.co.uk to request a claim form. Please state your policy number in all correspondence.
Making a claim through the claims portal on My Staff Shop
- Navigate to the Health and Wellness claims page on the My Staff Shop website or App
- Select the type of claim you would like to make. Note – not all claims can be made online due to their complexity. Should the claim type you want to make not be visible you will need to use one of the other specified methods
- Complete the online form in its entirety, making sure the photo or file that you attach of your claim evidence is clear and meets the requirements set out in your policy document
- Submit the form
- Your form is then sent to the My Health Xtras claim team who will process your claim within 2 working days. Please check your emails during this time as if there is anything missing from your form or we need further evidence from you we will contact you by email
- Should everything be in order your claim will be processed and approved. You will receive an email to confirm this
- Your payment will be in your bank account within 5 working days of your claim being approved
Making a claim by calling the claims team
- Call 03300 242 280 and (preferably) have your membership number to hand
- Confirm the type of claim you would like to make
- Confirm the details of the claim you would like to make
- Let us know if you want your claim form sent by email or in the post
- We will send you a claim form with instructions on how to complete it and what evidence you need to return alongside it
- Once completed, you can send the claim form by post or you can send us scans/images of the form and evidence by email to customerservices@myhealthxtras.co.uk
- Your claim will be processed within 2 working days. We will contact you if we need anything further to assess your claim.
- Should everything be in order your claim will be processed and approved. If you have sent your form in by email you will receive an email to confirm this
- Your payment will be in your bank account within 5 working days of your claim being approved
Making a claim by emailing the claims team
- Email customerservices@myhealthxtras.co.uk stating your full name, membership number and date of birth. Also confirm the type of claim you would like to make
- We will send you a claim form with instructions on how to complete it and what evidence you need to return alongside it
- Once completed, you can send the claim form by post or you can send us scans/images of the form and evidence by email to customerservices@myhealthxtras.co.uk
- Your claim will be processed within 2 working days. We will contact you if we need anything further to assess your claim.
