MY Health Xtras sponsored team win both league and cup in one season
WORTHEN TITANS DO THE DOUBLE IN 2024
My Health Xtras are thrilled to announce their sponsored team, Worthen Titans U14’s, have won the double in 2024, remaining unbeaten in the Shropshire Junior Football League standings and winning the League Cup in a convincing 5-0 victory over Worthen Seahawks.
Titans received their new home kit, sponsored by My Health Xtras, in late 2023 as part of their drive to improve their playing gear. My Health Xtras Managing Director, Jonathan Breakell, was impressed at the work the boys were doing to raise funds for their new kit and wanted to help out. “Having played grassroots football throughout my youth I understood the difficulty teams face when trying to purchase playing kit, or having to deal with worn out hand-me-downs. So I was more than happy to offer the support of My Health Xtras when Titans asked for sponsorship. It was great to see the initiative the boys had taken to raise as much money as they could and we wanted to recognise their hard work”.
Andrew Mason, coach for Worthen Titans, commented that “It’s great to have the support of My Health Xtras. At a time when everyone is feeling the pinch it is important that we aren’t limiting the opportunities young people get to be involved with grassroots sport.”
